Remembering Martin Luther King Jr.

April 4th marks the anniversary of the assassination of civil rights legend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. His last speech, given on April 3rd, 1968, is at once hauntingly prophetic and a lasting reminder of the importance of standing against injustice everywhere. He was murdered the following day.

"Let us rise up tonight with a greater readiness. Let us stand with a greater determination. And let us move on in these powerful days, these days of challenge to make America what it ought to be..."
