Free Online Courses at National Labor College

The National Labor College has launched a new series of free courses you can take online. The Open Learning Course is a free web-based learning activity offering opportunities for union members, leaders, activists and staff to improve their understanding of the labor movement.

According to the NLC, "The OLC combines the best available knowledge on a given subject in a short, concise format free and accessible to all."

In addition to the Images in Labor course, there are courses in Collective Bargaining, Taft-Hartley Funds, Leadership and Landmark Events and Basic Computer Skills.

Course descriptions and instruction on how to proceed with a course is available here.

The NLC also offers a variety of other educational options, including more extensive online studies, traditional on-campus classes and partially online studies.
