
After months of intense negotiations, The United Food and Commercial Workers Union and Kroger have reached an agreement for workers in Southwest Ohio, Northern Kentucky and Southeast Indiana. These members stood firm for a good contract, with affordable health care coverage and wages that pay the bills.

I just want to say how pround I am of all the UFCW 1099 members .We people stood strong and listrened to your union officals .Now we have to show our support to those who right now going thur grocery talks in UFCW 555 .They have already filed charges on the big 3 in Oregon and SW Washington !We also need to remember the UFCW Local 5 members who are going thur grocery talks as well.Also in 2008 UFCW 1518 and my own grocery talks here in Chicago.What happends across the nation affect us here as well.
